Dark Souls-inspired Ashen is finally getting its PS4, Switch and PC release

Ashen will finally be making its debut on PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch on December 9.

The Dark Souls-inspired RPG launched on Xbox One and the Epic Game Store late last December, almost a year exactly before its planned release on the PlayStation and Nintendo platforms, and on PC via Steam and GoG.

Developed by A44 and published by Annapurna Interactive, Ashen is an action RPG about a wanderer in search of a home.

"This is a world where nothing lasts, no matter how tightly you cling to it," says Annapurna in a prepared statement. "At its core, Ashen is about forging relationships. Players can guide those they trust to their camp - together, you might just stand a chance."

Ashen features an interestic multiplayer mechanic that lets you act as an NPC for others, for example by guiding them through quests. Take it look at it in action in the launch trailer below.
