Here's how much the Halo Master Chief Collection will cost on PC

Ten bucks a pop isn't bad for some of the best shooters of the last two decades.

Microsoft has released a wealth of practical info on the upcoming PC release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

The whole saga will come included on Xbox Game Pass for PC, as they launch. But for those of you wanting Steam copies - or just one or two of the games on the MS store - each Halo entry will also be sold separately.

Mainline games Halo: Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4 will all cost $9.99 apiece. Halo 3: ODST is a bit cheaper at $4.99, but you're only getting the best campaign of the lot for that. Sorry, Firefight fans.

Release dates are still a tightly-held secret. We know Reach is the first entry hitting PC, with each new game arriving in chronological order as the Halo saga plays out. That means the likely order will follow with Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4.

Getting your hands on Reach shouldn't take too long, though. Public flighting (testing) kicks off this month. Sign-up as a Halo Insider here for a shot at getting in on the party.
