Bethesda has confirmed when we’ll be getting our first look at Doom Eternal gameplay.
Doom Eternal is the followup to 2016’s well-loved reboot. Bethesda unveiled the sequel at E3 2018, and promised to reveal more at QuakeCon in August.
Today, the publisher confirmed that Doom Eternal gameplay will be shown off for the first time in a livestream on Friday, August 10. The show will be streamed live from QuakeCon, which takes place August 9-12.

Exact timings of the stream have yet to be announced, but we’re also not sure if a gameplay reveal means we’ll be treated to a short trailer, or a full-on guided demo.
We’re hoping it’s the latter, since the 2016 Doom got a pretty meaty behind-closed-doors showcase at QuakeCon.
Not much is known about Doom Eternal. It’s unlikely to be scheduled for release this year, but we do know the sequel will feature more demons, and more powerful abilities for the Doom Marine.
We’ll bring you any details as they’re announced come August.
