Unsurprisingly, the finished game looks a damn sight better than the beta.
Digital Foundry have some preliminary gameplay footage from Gears of War 4‘s multiplayer and horde mode, and so far, so marvellous.
The game’s split frame-rate model targets 60fps for competitive multiplayer with 30fps for everything else.
Comparing the beta multiplayer to the finished product, Digital Foundry’s John Linneman says the performance and graphics have had a “marvellous upgrade” since the beta.
