Rainbow Six Siege is due for a major update pretty soon. Ubisoft recently revealed some of the headline changes, and detailed the two new operators.

As with every new content release for the game, a new map gets added for free, alongside two new playable classes (operators). Operation Skull Rain is the name of the upcoming release. It's set in Brazil, and naturally, the map is a favela.

Although we don't know much about it yet, the video above showcases some of the key points Ubisoft mentioned when it was first revealed. For instance, it's going to feature more opportunities for destruction than any other map. The rooftops will be accessible, too, making for a some outdoors encounters.

Close-quarter encounters seem to be the focus of the new map, which makes sense given its location. This was also the first time the developers invited pro players in to test the map during development.

The full reveal, including a look at the new operators, will take place during the Xbox One pro league finals on Saturday, July 30 at 3am CET/7pm PST.
