Just Cause 3 developers at Avalanche are very aware of the previous game’s modding scene.
Just Cause 2 is a game that saw a thriving modding community on PC. The game didn’t launch with a multiplayer mode, but modding took care of that. Naturally, bringing this to consoles sounds like a good idea, but one that’s hard to commit to.
Speaking to GameSpot at E3, Just Cause 3 game director Roland Lesterlin told the site that it’s considering bringing mod support to consoles.
“We’ve been wanting to do quite a lot of that stuff for a while,” he said when asked about Fallout 4’s mods coming to Xbox One. “We’re not announcing anything there yet, but… we would want to support [mods] as much as possible.”
