Battlefield Hardline: can't play episode 2 in the campaign? You'll have to replay episode 1

A strange issue is affecting those who played the single-player portion of Battlefield Hardline available through EA Access that requires them to restart episode 1 in order to progress further.

If you were among the numerous EA Access members on Xbox One who tried the prologue and the first episode of Battlefield Hardline and later decided to buy the game, you'll need to play that episode again if you want to progress further in the story.

EA said there's a "technical issue" preventing players from progression further and advised anyone suffering from that to select the 'restart episode' option and replay episode 1. After you do that, episode 2 and the rest will be available.

Don't worry though, all your weapon progression and ranking will not be affected.
