UK game charts: Watch Dogs keeps World Cup fever on a tight leash

Watch Dogs has held onto its place at top of the UK game charts, fending off a big sliding tackle from 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.

People are still finding Easter Eggs in Watch Dogs, so it’s little wonder gamers are still curious about Ubisoft’s title. For starters, there’s this scene where someone gets spied on through their hacked Kinect, and this mission that asks you to eliminate the CEO of Abstergo Entertainment. Meta!

You’ll find the UK top ten below. Score-keeper UKIE informed us in an email that Watch Dogs sales are down 47% on last week, while 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil has risen from sixth to second place as the actual tourney kicks off. Wii U darling Mario Kart 8 is only a few hundred sales behind it in third.
