World of Nintendo toy line starting September, includes Mario Kart 8 car kits

Nintendo appears to be releasing a new World of Nintendo toy line starting in September, according to an Australia toy and merchandise distributor. Images of the kits have appeared, along with a new line of Mario Kart 8 race tracks and vehicles.

It follows Nintendo president Satoru Iwata pledging to license the company’s properties out to third-party firms to further the profitability of the firm.

Distributor Banter Toys has posted images and product descriptors of the range, along with a blanket ‘September 2014’ release window.
