Kickstarter headlines Game Invest 2013

Crowd-funding site Kickstarter will headline this year's Game Invest 2013 event at Eurogamer Expo on September 26. The event gives medium-to-small studios the chance to pitch their game concepts directly to investors and to network with industry names.

GI.biz reports that the investor list already includes Sega Europe, Standfast Interactive, Sony XDEV and Ian Livingstone OBE.

CEO of Standfast Interactive, Morgan O'Rahilly said in a statement, "We were very impressed with the companies we met at Games Invest 2012 and we are currently in final negotiations with one of them to fund their game. We look forward to meeting more exciting developers and seeing more innovative games at this year's event."
