Super Hexagon now available on BlackBerry 10

The simplistic-seeming but notoriously difficult Super Hexagon is the latest to make the jump to the latest BlackBerry platform.

In a new blog post, Super Hexagon creator Terry Cavanagh said he hadn't planned on the port to BlackBerry 10, but had no reason to turn down the the opportunity when it came along.

BlackBerry 10 is so new it still has the price tag on it; only the BlackBerry Z10 supports the operating system so far. Nevertheless, RIM seems keen to get games on it as fast as possible, signing Unity onto the platform.

Super Hexagon originally released for iOS, and sold well beyond Cavanagh's expectations. It was later ported to Steam, and is in the running for an award at this year's Independent Games Festival.

Thanks, Joystiq.
