The Last Story sells out in Japan

Wipe your eyes, children! Mistwalker's enchanting Wii-exclusive RPG, The Last Story, is reported to have completely sold out its first shipment in Japan. That's not a gamble, Nintendo. That's a sure bet. Bring us this thing.
A Neogaf post claims retailer blogs reported the game's first shipment had been snatched up so rapidly that last minute preorders were not able to be filled.
A second shipment is due today, thankfully.
The Last Story is the latets game from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, and despite looking utterly delightful, isn't expected to release outside Japan.
