Nintendo president Satoru Iwata says that Nintendo has brought millions of new people into gaming, and over 295 million people currently play games.

How many own a Wii or Nintendo system was not mentioned.

Even though people are beginning to think that fewer and fewer are getting into gaming and Nintendo’s ability is fading, research conducted by the company says that there are an additional 149 million considering getting into gaming.

For every 2 players, there’s one wanting to get into gaming.

This can enlarge gaming populace by fifty percent.
