The Galactic Civilisation development team, Stardock, has announced that its next major PC title will be a fantasy-strategy romp entitled, Elemental: War of Magic.

A public beta will be available June next year with the game set for release February 2010 for $50, so get saving.

Also, the game will have “no on-disc DRM”, apparently and will be updated via the company’s own Impulse digital distribution system.

There are some early screenshots over at Joystiq and you can read all about it via Big Download.
