EA Sports announces interative soccer training online

EA Sports and US Soccer announced the joint venture of EA Sports Interactive Training, which is a free, online tutorial using technology to train the “soccer stars of the future”.
Available here, the tool interactively demonstrates the Best Practices for Coaching Soccer book which serves as the sport’s definitive player development guidelines in the US.
Each video features John Hackworth, U.S. Soccer Development Academy Technical Director and U.S. Men’s National Team Assistant Coach, handing out advice for players ages 8-12 along with their coaches to help improve real-world technique.

Ubisoft announces Academy of Champions featuring Pelé

Ubisoft has announced Academy of Champions, an arcade football/soccer game exclusively for Wii featuring Pelé.
The game promises to deliver an an interactive experience for children and families with a story-driven adventure starting with enrollment at an Academy where your coach is Pelé.
Players can improve their skills, recruit new team members and build a squad to defeat their rival Academy and win the champion cup.
Wii Balance Board and MotionPlus compatible, the game is set for release sometime this year.
