Soccer smash-hit Rocket League celebrates 20 million player milestone
Rocket League, one of the most well-marketed and supported indie games around, has just announced that their total lifetime player number has hit 20 million.

Rocket League, the sequel to little-played PS3 game Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, announced its 19 million player one month ago; for a game that came out over a year ago, it's still showing tremendous growth.
Whether or not Rocket League will release anything new to celebrate this achievement remains to be seen, but since there are new fields and variants coming next month, as well as a major game-changing new mode, perhaps they don't need to.
Rocket League is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The all-important online player base remains healthy.
