Sniper Elite V2 demo now available through XBLM and PSN
Rebellion has released a demo for Sniper Elite V2 through Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network. In the demo, which is 837.39 MB in size, you are an “elite US WWII sniper” named Karl Fairburne who goes behind enemy lines to uncover a “horrifying plot which threatens to kill millions of civilians throughout Western Europe.” Hit up XBL to find out if its available in your region. It should be out in t he UK on PSn as well now, according to the EU PS Blog. Game’s out on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 May 4. Check out a video for it below.

SEGA, Team 17, Rebellion, and Kalypso join Origin
SEGA has announced it’s to make some of its PC games available on EA’s Origin, starting with Total War: Shogun 2 – Fall of the Samurai which is now available for pre-order on the service. In addition, Team 17 Software, Rebellion, and Kalypso Media Digital have also signed on with the service, which brings Origin’s total partners to 35. Titles from the aforementioned studios will be released in the “coming months.”

NeverDead gets first DLC “expansion” on February 21
Konami’s will release the first DLC for NeverDead on February 21. The Expansion Pack Volume 1 will bring, according to GamesRadar, “the enlargement of the Asylum and the new Gameplay Challenges accommodated by the change.” No idea what that means considering we haven’t touched it yet, but whatevs. New challenges include Egg Hunt, Fragile Alliance and Onslaught. Also included in the DLC are two new costumes: a dress for main lead Bryce and a Gaga outfit for Nikki.

Konami announces NeverDead for a February 3 release, screenshot extravaganza follows
Konami has announced Rebellion’s NeverDead will release on PS3 and Xbox 360 January 31 in the US and February 3 in the UK. The game lands in Japan on February 2. The firm also sent us an abundance of screenshots for the game, which you can have a look at in the gallery below. Announced during Konami’s infamous press briefing at E3 2010, NeverDead was originally set for release at the end of 2011.

NeverDead gets February 2012 Japanese launch
Konami’s announced it’ll release NeverDead in Japan on February 2, 2012. The Rebellion actioner, which sees you out for revenge as a cursed, immortal demon hunter named Bryce, will launch for ¥6,980 in the country. No western release date has been announced as yet.

Neverdead gets TGS trailer, new screens
Konami’s released out of its Tokyo press conference this morning the Tokyo Game Show trailer for Neverdead, as well as new screens. The trailer pretty much introduces the Japanese voice cast for the Rebellion third-person actioner, but there’s also some Megadeth too as a bonus. Go nuts with the video after the break. Check out 8-minutes of NeverDead footage
Eight minutes of gameplay footage from NeverDead has been posted, and it shows the game’s hero, Bryce Boltzmann, doing what he does best: killing nasties. Players will use Bryce’s immortality, thus the NeverDead moniker, as they fight demons in various ways – even by using body parts as weapons. The Shinta Nojiri and Rebellion-developed titles is expected for a winter release in Japan on PS3 and Xbox 360. No western date just yet. Thanks, Kotaku.
