Ghost of a Tale Indiegogo campaign has four days left, character art posted
The Indiegogo campaign for Ghost of a Tale, the lovely third-person game from ex-Dreamworks and Universal animator Lionel Gallat, is winding down and with four days left. It still needs €6,951 in funding to be a success, and with a fixed funding price of €45,000 the project has earned €38,049 so far. To get the funding ball rolling faster, the game’s page has been updated with some desktop concept art of the main character as well as an undead rat and a look into character creation. Upon funding, the game will be released on PC. Go have a look through the link.

Ghost of a Tale Indiegogo page updated with Crab character clip
Ghost of a Tale, the PC adventure game from ex-Dreamworks and Universal animator Lionel Gallat, has updated the project page on IndieGoGo with a small video clip of the character Crab. While you are there, you can also look over character videos for Mouse, Undead Rat, and Frog. It’s like Wind in the Williows meets The Secret of Nimh or something. It looks interesting to me at any rate. I’d play it eagerly. The CryEngine 2 project has nine days left to reach its €45,000 goal, and so far, €23,428 has been pledged. You can donate through the link, and watch the character videos below.

Skullgirls Indiegogo tops $750,000, unlocks fourth DLC character
The crowdfunding campaign for Lab Zero Games’ Skullgirls has only a few hours to go, but it’s still making rapid progress. By reaching $725,000 fans ensured the team will release yet another DLC character, bringing the total so far to four – not at all bad for an initiative originally planned to produce just one. The new character will be called Robo-Fortune, and since the campaign has now attracted a whopping $766,634, she’ll get her own stage and story mode too. The most recent milestone also means Mane6 will receive a free copy of the Skullgirls engine.
Thanks, Siliconera.

J.U.L.I.A. Enhanced Edition to be crowdfunded
J.U.L.I.A. developer CBE Interactive has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to fund an improved version of the science fiction adventure, with new graphics, extra content, more puzzles and easy mode. This is of particular note because the original J.U.L.I.A. was published by Lace Mamba, and the public falling out between developer and publisher triggered a scandal over the company’s treatment of independent developers. CBE wants just $5,000 to polish up a game which did not live up to its potential; IndieGames.
