Character video released for Dungeon Siege III
Square has released a new trailer for Dungeon Siege III, and in it, all four characters, are present after getting their own individual ones over the past weeks. Watch it below, courtesy of D’toid. Dungeon Siege III releases on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 near the end of July, and demos will start rolling out for it next week.

Dungeon Siege III will award multiplayer XP
The whole no multiplayer XP in Dungeon Siege III thing was a bit of a miscommunication, according to associate producer Nathan Davis, and has its roots in the game’s emphasis on story.

Obsidian talks Dungeon Siege III’s PC-centricity, stability issues
Project director Rich Taylor has said the multiplatform Dungeon Siege III will include “PC-centric” features not seen in the console version, and that eliminating crashes and bugs are “extremely high priorities” for the game’s development.

“No official plans” for Dungeon Siege 3, says Taylor
Speaking to CVG, Gas Powered Games’ Chris Taylor has said that comments he made last week about Dungeon Siege 3 being a single-character affair doesn’t mean he’s working on the game itself.
“We have not made any official announcements, or have any official plans, but we are kicking ideas around, and that’s no secret,” he said.
“It would be a long time before another DS game was finished and saw the light of day.”
Taylor added: “When asked if we were considering taking lessons learned from Space Siege back into the Dungeon Siege series, the answer was yes.
“The example I gave was the multi-character parties… saying I was done with the big parties, because it really took the focus away from the main hero. In fact, in Dungeon Siege, it was hard to really have a ‘main’ hero, so-to-speak.”
So there we are.
