Square has announced Leonard Nimoy, Haley Joel Osment, and Hayden Panettiere and others will reprise their roles in the Kingdom Hearts series by lending their chops to Kingdom Hearts 3D. Full list is below.

A demo for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance will be released North America, according to director Tetsuya Nomura. Speaking with Famitsu, Nomura confirmed the demo will include the Sora scenario Traverse Town which is currently the demo available in Japan. A date for the demo wan’t noted. The full game is slated for release in the US and Europe in July. Thanks, Gematsu.

Square has announced North American pre-order incentives for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. While supplies last, pre-order customers will acquire three augmented reality cards which unlock Dream Eaters and a 360° viewing stand. One wild AR card will randomly unlock one of the three rare Dream Eaters: Ursa Circus, Sudo Neku or Meowjesty. The second AR card unlocks R&R Seal Dream Eater, and the last AR card unlocks the 360° viewing stand. The game releases in North America on July 31.

Square has released a new batch of screenshots for the lovely Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, and the lot is posted below. The RPG is out now in Japan, and will launch in the west on 3DS later this year.

Square has released a new video for Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, and it runs around the 10-minute mark. The 3DS title has Sora and Rikku as duel playable protagonists, and will feature familiar characters and locations from IPs such as Final Fantasy, Winnie the Pooh, Tron, Pinocchio, Notre Dame, Three Musketeers and more Square/Disney offerings. It launches March 29 in Japan, and is slated for release this year in Europe and the US. The video is posted below.

The flood of 3DS images which completely fail to suggest 3D effects continues. Today’s hot contender is Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, with ten new screens showing character switching, roomy level design, and one of the titular drops.
