Origin offering Mass Effect, Dead Space for £3, Bulletstorm for £7.50
EA’s sounded the bargin siren, pricing the original Mass Effect and Dead Space for £3 on Origin, while its sequels are £10 and £7 respectively. Dragon Age 2 and Mirror’s Edge are also in on the deal at a fiver a pop, while Spore’s available for £6 and Bulletstorm at £7.50. The deal’s available for a limited time, though, so get to it.

Quick shots: Dragon Age II DLC goes heavy on action
EA’s released three new shots of the upcoming DLC for Dragon Age II, Mark of the Assassin. The DLC sees Hawke and Felicia Day’s elf assassin Tallis – the main character in the mini-series produced by Day, Redemption – as it tries to steal a relic from an Orlesian estate. Get them below.
The DLC’s out next week for 360, PC and PS3.

New Dragon Age II story DLC announced for October, starring Felicia Day
BioWare’s announced on GameTrailers TV this morning the second story DLC for Dragon Age II, called Mark of the Assassin. It’ll star The Guild’s Felicia Day, who’s been involved in making the live-action series for the IP, Redemption. The story sees you try to steal a jewel called the “Heart of the Many” from an impregnable fortress filled with all kinds of traps and enemies. It’ll launch on October 11 for PS3, 360 and PC. Future Dragon Age II DLC to continue addressing core complaints

Bioware: “Polarized” opinions on Dragon Age 2 are “better than apathy”
Bioware writer David Gaider has said he and Dragon Age II team found the polarizing opinions on the game “surprising,” but being vocally upset over the change gameplay mechanics is better than tital disinterest.

EA responds to Dragon Age II Steam disappearance, blames Valve’s “restrictive” TOS
Another day, another EA-related Steam vanishing act. This time around, it was Hawke that flew the coop. But why? Sorry, folks: no final act plot twist here. Quick shots: Two lone screens of Dragon Age II’s Legacy DLC
A couple new shots from the Legacy DLC for Dragon Age II popped up on the game’s official site. Each was mixed in with shots released during EA’s Summer Showcase, which took place at the beginning of the month. Legacy is due on PC, PSN and XBL on July 26.

Legacy DLC to address some player feedback in Dragon Age II
Dragon Age senior producer Fernando Melo said BioWare has taken player feedback from DAII into serious consideration, and while he admits there is only so much the firm can do to fix complaints with DLC, it’s “addressing,” the issue.

Burnout Crash, DAII DLC announced at EA showcase
EA announced Burnout Crash from Criterion Games and the first major post-release DLC for Dragon Age II, but there was no announcement, as predicted, of Crysis 1 for the consoles.
