DA: Awakening's Anders to be a party member in Dragon Age II

Beware, though, for all is not as it seems.

(This cryptic message has been brought to you by the Spoiler Association for Spoilers. Click through at your own peril. Come on, you know you want to.)

Everyone's favorite kitty loving, chantry hating mage is making a return in Dragon Age II, Game Informer (via Greywardens.com) has confirmed. Here's the thing, though: his body's definitely back to aid your cause, but his head isn't entirely in the game. Literally.

See, shortly after Anders hitches a ride on your world-saving train, you discover that one of his old Grey Warden pals has been turned Tranquil. Anders, understandably, is p**sed, but it's not until his eyes glow like spotlights and his voice sounds like it's coming through a megaphone that's coming through God that you realize something's off. Turns out, he's been possessed by a spirit of justice.

Granted, there's been no mention of whether this is the Justice or simply another of his kind who suffered a similar flesh-and-blood-oriented fate. Still though, we'd definitely be up for an Awakening twofer, so fingers crossed.

Thanks, Joystiq.
