No Mass Effect Andromeda news for N7 day, but lots of new merch

Mass Effect fans will celebrate N7 day this week, but unfortunately they won't do it with new intel on BioWare's latest.

November 7 is N7 Day, the annual celebration of all things Mass Effect.

As usual, BioWare has invited fans to participate in various ways. A charity stream kicks off at 9:00pm PST on Saturday, if you want to tune in.

If you'd like to participate more actively, you can share your thoughts and creations on the #N7Day hashtag on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. BioWare will share some fan posts, and will also host giveaways. The BioWare Blog has some N7 images for use on your profiles, too.

Finally, there's a sale on Mass Effect merchandise, and the BioWare Store will have a new Mass Effect item every day this week. Today's is a onesie - BioWare is calling it a jumpsuit, but it's definitely a onesie - and tomorrow's is a pair of sneakers.

What we won't be getting is any news on the next game - or will we?

"While we won’t have any major announcements for Mass Effect: Andromeda this N7 Day, keep an eye out on Saturday for some surprises that we’re sure you’ll enjoy," BioWare said.

Hmm! At present we expected Mass Effect Andromeda on PC, PS4 and Xbox One at the end of 2016, so don't hold your breath for a substantial update before we get through the Q1 2016 release scrum.
