Kinect SDK 2.0 and new adapter kit now available for Windows 8

If you are interested in using Kinect on Windows 8, you can now purchase a PC adapter for the camera peripheral.

For $49/£31 and the latest Kinect software development kit update, users will be able to make use of both the Xbox One Kinect and Kinect for Windows v2.

SDK 2.0 update is available for developers to download and use for free via its website and at present, use is limited for consumers.

That being said, a few Kinect apps are available for downloaded from the Windows Store.

Thanks, Eurogamer.
