Remember the original GTA poster? It was pretty cool

The style of GTA’s promo material may have changed dramatically since the first game released in 1997, but the concept? Not so much.

Reddit user EirikHavre upped this poster from the original Grand Theft Auto, showing the guy, the girl, the cars and the city which would eventually push the series up to the highest of video game heights.

GTA’s next release will be the next-gen console versions, due to ship later this year.

I photocopied this poster to cover my school books in, then coloured it in when i was bored in class. Then my other friends copied me too.

    Good times.

If I’m not mistaken, this was on the reverse side of the map that comes with GTA.

I don’t really remember this poster though I do remember getting sick all over mine and the only thing to survive was the disk as it was in my PS at the time.

“GTA’s next release will be the next-gen console versions”… and PC. Don’t you dare to call my machine a filthy console.
