News of the next PS4 firmware update is coming soon

Sony has been somewhat lethargic when it comes to releasing system updates for the PlayStation 4. The last update came out in April, that's long ago, and comes especially in contrast to Microsoft's monthly approach. There's hope however, as we're going to hear news about the next update soon.

According to Fred Dutton, EU PSBlog manager, we are going to be getting news about an upcoming system update for PlayStation 4 "very soon."

He later added that he's not sure what sort of details will be released, but urged us to still expect the news.
