Link batters everyone in this new Hyrule Warriors character trailer

Friday, 20th June 2014 12:42 GMT By Dave Cook

Hyrule Warriors is coming to Wii U this year, and Tecmo Koei’s new character trailer shows Link throwing down against whole armies with the Master Sword. He even makes a giant beast eat bombs that kill it from inside. Ouch.

Some of the action is pretty nuts, but if you want more we’ve got a raw six-minute gameplay video showcasing all of the Hyrule Warriors characters here.

Hyrule Warriors releases on Wii U August 14 in Japan, September 19 in Europe, September 20 in Australia, and September 26 in North America.

Will you be picking it up at launch?

I’ll be play Destiny and preparing my body for DAI when this releases, but i will be acquiring it at some point, probably when Zelda U releases next year (Which is also when I’ll buy a Wii U, hopefully a golden special edition one…..)

It looks great, loving both, dinasty warriors and zelda it is a non brainer. Man maybe iam more hype with this game than with the open world main zelda title.

@polygem Sadly i dont have internet since i move to the countryside, iam waiting for the installation, well the whole town, but god knows when that is going to be. If it wasnt for that, i would had also expending that month on destiny, well as long as i have this game and shadow of mordor, no biggy.

@polygem oh yes is great, people is more humble, and it seems like a different world from the city, it comes great to my burnout anxiety syndrom.

i will make that move as well in a few years. definitely.
i have been working a lot (too much) for a long time as well – my job can be pretty intense sometimes too :D it can exhaust you if you´re not careful. one needs to be very aware of some well thought out work/ life balance. the last 12 months i barely worked at all. only very, very part time because i wanted to downshift a little bit again. was a selfprescribed burnout prevention…but the new job this summer will need my full attention again.
rejoice vg247 community i will probably gtfo a lot.
the city though…it can exhaust you by itself sometimes :D
