Praise the sun! Dark Souls developer From Software has a new president

Dark Souls producer Hidetaka Miyazaki has been appointed as From Software's company president by new owner Kadokawa Games. Fans of his work will no doubt be pleased.

Word on the street is that Miyazaki has been quietly working on Project Beast for PS4, a game widely believed to be the spiritual successor to his PS3 cult hit Demon's Souls. I'm actually praying that this is true before going to bed each night, seriously.

Miyazaki's appointment was reported by Dengeki Online - via NeoGAF - which stated that he starts his new job today.

Former president Naotoshi Jin is said to be taking an advisory role at the company.

For those who preferred the Miyazaki-led Dark Souls over Dark Souls 2, this will surely come as good news.
