Xbox One DVR campaign tasks gamers with uploading gameplay clips to win prizes

Microsoft has launched 'The One' a new campaign that asks Xbox One games to meet a series of challenges created by YouTube personalities to win prizes. To enter, gamers are required to capture gameplay footage of their feats using their console's DVR function, then publish it online using the Upload Studio.

In a press release sent to VG247 today, Microsoft confirmed that from now until 11.59 PM, Friday 2nd May, gamers can choose one or as many of these challenges as they like, then attempt to record the best clips they can. Winners will be crowned 'The One,'and receive prizes which have yet to be revealed.

The YouTube personalities include rapper Dan Bull, the TWiiNSANE crew and shooter fan JayEx23. They've each thrown down a gauntlet based on their favourite Xbox One titles, ranging from Titanfall and Dead Rising 3, to FIFA 14 and Call of Duty: Ghosts. Bull, for example, wants to see your most creative zombie kills in Dead Rising 3.

More details can be found here, and we'll update you once the next round of challenges goes live. There will be ten in total.
