Banished arrives on GOG, Humble Store, Steam

Medieval city building simulator Banished is now available through a variety of digital outlets, including straight from the developer if that’s your fancy. It’ll set you back $20. As reported last month, Banished has players creating a city by managing resources – including inhabitants – without skill trees, while dependent on foreign trade and at constant risk of disease and disaster. It’s been in the works for four years and seems pretty special; check out a new trailer through the break.

Thanks, Ausgamers.

And it’s great. If they gave a shit, EA should be looking at this as a case study in how to do a city builder.

And all done by one guy for 14 quid.
