Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online launching for Steam Early Access

Tuesday, 14th January 2014 21:37 GMT By Mike Irving

Ubisoft announced today that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online will be coming to Steam this year, via the Early Access program.

The team-based shooter has been out for a while, but producer Corey Facteau says bringing it to Steam “has been our goal since the game’s inception.”

Ghost Recon Online is available on Steam Early Access right now in Canada, and is expected to be rolled out to the rest of the world this spring.

Thanks, Polygon.

By early access I presume they plan to charge people for it. Who in their right mind would pay for it? it has been out for more than a year, it’s bullshit uber crap shooter. And one more thing, Steam should stay away from giving the early access program to publishers. I always seen that as a way to help independent devs a chance to promote their game and ease up the development process by earning some money. This is not how it should be!
