Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls has been confirmed for release on PS4 and it will be making its public debut at BlizzCon 2013, Blizzard has announced.

In it, players will explore the haunted streets of Westmarch as one of our five original classes, or try it out in the new Crusader class.

Attendees at BlizzCon will be able to try the game out using DualShock 4 and its all-new social features and touch pad technology.

It will also be playable on PC, obviously.

BlizzCon takes place November 8-9.

Diablo 3 lands on PS4 in 2014.

and how PS4 players will play Reaper Of Souls without a copy of Diablo III or it will be free? Or they can transfer it from PS3 to PS4?

    Makes no sense so far.

It most likely includes the main game, so sort of a ”goty” release.

Anyway, what’s up with this weird exclusitivity deal they have with Sony? First they announced it for PS3 in February this year (they didn’t reveal that it was coming to 360 until June). Then they patch PS3 first, while 360 users has to wait 2 weeks later. Both consoles have patching certifications, and pretty much every other game patches at the same time on both consoles.

I’m sure it’ll release on XB1 aswell, but it’s weird they’re using this tactic. Activision have had a relationship with Microsoft for years with CoD the expansions exclusitivity.

@3 Just like EA had a relationship with Sony, with Fifa for the past few years.

It’s business, you make relationships based on money, and it seems like Activision has developed a relationship with Sony, with Destiny & Diablo.

@3 – Well Activision has that deal with sony on Exclusive content for Destiny, so it wouldn’t surprise me if Sony is throwing cash at them.
Also, The PS4 gets the Elder Scrolls online beta so they are throwing cash at Zenimax possibly as well.

Sony has to counter MS being in bed with EA I guess.

    That’s called foresight LOL

PS3 has passed the 360 worldwide sales, the gap between COD copies sold on PS3/360 is shrinking A LOT, and without the timed exclusivity and PS3 sub quality versions, COD would sell MORE on PS3.

Acti realized that PS4 is the console with more appeal to the gamers, so has shifted his allegiance, because it makes more sense business wise.
    EA on the other hand…

And what EA did does NOT makes sense, but Peter Moore is an ex Microsoft employee…
