Monster Hunter 4 tops for fourth week on Media Create, lifetime sales hit over 2.5 million

Wednesday, 9th October 2013 14:38 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Monster Hunter 4 was once again the top selling software title in Japan for the week ending October 6. It was a rather uneventful period, actually, with the only debut was Namco Bandai’s SPEC: Ten for 3DS and the only hardware to show growth over the prior week was Wii with 914 units compared 866 units previously. A Wii title didn’t crack the top 20 in software so we’re unsure what causes the slight spike.

Get the full software and hardware charts below.

Here’s the full software chart for September 30 – October 6. Life-to-date sales are in parentheses:

With sales like these Capcom would be crazy to move the franchise to consoles ever again.
