Fifth-generation iPad to be revealed on October 22 - rumour

According to anonymous sources speaking to AllThingsD, a new iPad reveal is just weeks away. The site's sources said Apple will hold one of its famous media events on October 22, showing off the fifth generation iPad; the new models are believed to be slimmer and lighter with a better camera, and to utilise Apple's 64-bit A7 chip. An iPad Mini with the same chip and a retina display will also be revealed, apparently, along with a new Mac Pro model.
