Jane Jensen's mystery game reveal due next week

The mystery project in the work's at Jane Jensen's Pinkerton Road studios may be revealed in just over a week.

In a backer update on Kickstarter, Jensen said the announcement is coming "very soon" and although it's not locked down the team is hoping for the week of October 8.

"We have approval from the publisher on a press release and screenshots and are just working on finishing up the website, a first interview, etc," she wrote.

The first reveal is likely to come through Jensen's Twitter, she added.

Jensen took to Kickstarter in April 2012 to fund not a single game but a whole studio, Pinkerton Road. Backers the voted on which of a couple of Jensen's pitches would be developed, eventually selecting supernatural adventure Moebius. However, Pinkerton Road was signed to a new mystery project, so is sharing development with Cognition developer Phoenix Online.

Moebius is currently in closed testing for backers only; beta for chapters three and four is expected in mid October.
