Valhalla Knights 3 release date set for North America

Vahalla Knights 3 will debut on North American Vitas next month, local publisher XSEED has announced, as well as producing a new trailer.

The RPG sequel has been given an October 15 release date. It'll go for $40 both in-store and on the PlayStation Store.

Valhalla Knights 3 begins in medieval prison Carceron, among a society of criminals and hostiles. Players customise their criminal avatar from one of seven races - human, dwarf, elf, halfing, machine, beats and nightmare - as well as 20 job classes - seven on start, eight unlocked through player, and five available as DLC.

The Marvelous AQL-developed title features real-time combat with a party of up to seven characters, and can issue commands to allies or switch characters on the fly. There are over 200 quests and 500 in-game items, allowing for about 40 hours of gameplay. XSEED has added an online multiplayer; the Japanese original only had ad-hoc.

European release will be dated soon.
