Although PlayStation 3 owners must wait one more week, PC and Xbox 360 players can now enjoy Grid 2’s Demolition Derby mode, added via a free DLC pack today.
Codemasters said the community requested the return of Demolition Derby mode, which it believes will showcase Grid 2’s superior graphics and damage engine. In the Detroit Demolition Derby Stadium, players can choose from two track configurations, which both include a crossover jump, and play in single-player, split-screen and online multiplayer for up to 12 participants.
As well as opening the new mode, the pack adds the Jupiter Eagle Ray Mk 5 Demo Derby car and a range of stock, customisable liveries. Enjoy a few screens below, although it’s puzzling that you would when you could be smashing cars against each other.
