Every time I see a free to play game it has an arbitrary advancement tree meant to slow your progress and encourage you to by EXP booster or premium variants of tanks/ships/guns etc.

@3: What do you expect? These games have to make money somehow!

If you can play the game for free and still level up, albeit slower, you’re still playing a game for FREEEEEEE.

The good news is, or at least it appears to be, that awful CoD-on-rails Dogfight mode is not going to be there. Render me the happiest guy on the planet.

#5 Am I? Will I put up within the frustration of needing to play a 100 matches unaided to git slightly better turning missiles, will you? My problem is the notion of the game being “free” is a lie: they hamstring you until you pay them off. I want them to be upfront with it and say “I see you like playing this game even though we cut your experience and cash acquisition by half, how about you pay us sixty dollars and we can make that go away.” instead of nickel and dimming me like I’m some rube.
