PS3 12GB now available in North America

Confirming a retailer listing and leak from earlier in the month, the 12GB PlayStation 3 has gone on sale in Canada and the United States. Stand-alone, it's priced at $200, but also comes in a bundled with The Last of Us and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception for $260. Available in Europe since October 2012, the "Super Slim" 12GB PS3 model supports upgraded internal HDDs or external storage via USB. The console's successor, the PS4, is expected before the end of the year.
