Angry Birds Trilogy releasing on Wii U & Wii in August

Thursday, 27th June 2013 10:49 GMT By Dave Cook

Angry Birds Trilogy publisher Activision has revealed that Rovio’s triumvirate of foul-slinging titles is heading to retail in North America on August 13.

The game is heading to Wii U and the standard Wii, and includes Angry Birds, Angry Birds: Seasons and Angry Birds: Rio. It’s not yet clear if the Wii U GamePad’s touch controls will be used to emulate the iOS and Android build, but it sounds like a safe bet.

At this rate Angry Birds will rival Doom or Quake 3 for “most ported game”.

I think that should read “fowl-slinging” unless the Birds have got a hell of a lot more angry since last I heard.
