Killzone: Shadow Fall to incorporate PS4 features such as PlayGo, Remote Play on Vita

Thursday, 13th June 2013 21:43 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Killzone: Shadow Fall will make use of various new features within PS4, such as PlayGo and Remote Play, according to Guerrilla Games.

Speaking with VG247 at E3, Guerrilla head Herman Hulst said PlayGo will allow users to start playing the game while it downloads silently in the background.

“There are a lot of PS4 platform features this game will make use of,” said Hulst. “Pretty much everything is there. Seemingly mundane features like PlayGo? We’ll make sure that works with this game, so you can start right away as the rest of the game downloads. We’ll do Remote Play. You can enjoy it on your Vita as well.

“Essentially we want to make it a showcase for everything on PlayStation 4, and that includes the inputs. Simple things are included such as the light-bar indicating health, but we’ve also implemented the touchpad. And it’s not at all tagged on.”

Light-bar health was discussed before by Sony Worldwide boss Shuhei Yoshida, when he previously explained the many uses of the DualShock 4′s light sensor.

Killzone: Shadow Fall will release as a PlayStation 4 launch title this year.

Killzone isn’t unique enough to kill Halo. You just shoot.

Sucks when people don’t share your opinion, right? It does do many things better than Halo, while Halo does other elements better. They are very different. How about we leave it at that? They’re both excellent franchises.

My opinion was that Killzone never is a Halo Killer, its true (to the majority), i love Killzone but even i am aware of its limitations and strengths. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t do things better than Halo and vice versa whereas Francis stated his infamous generalisations :) which i responded to sarcastically.
