Ubisoft by far. E3 is about the games, and nothing beats The Division.

Sony, unfortunately with little to no effort :(

Game wise overall Microsoft. Also Ubisoft made strong impression with the Division.

    Nothing beats the Division?

Are you high? It’s a simple third person shooter with really, really great graphics. but i doubt we will see the final version look like that.

Watch dogs proves that and it’s Ubisoft.

The division looks amazing. If the final product is anything like what they showed. I’m stoked!

I’m just basing it on the footage i saw. If the final games ends up looking like that, it’ll be the best game of the conference, by far. Nothing else comes close, graphically or gameplay wise.

Openworld with RPG elements/survivalistic elements is just too good to pass up.

Sony. And all they had to do was basicly saying: “Hey were doning it like we did before on PS3, nothing new in next Gen here. Oh wait, we now Charge for Online Pay!”

And they won with that Part of the Show. Hows that Possible? How did you pull this trick off Microsoft, pure Genius. Maybe you should have done that for you and not for your Competition.

MS in terms of showing off games and the console. Best game was probably The Division for me, Titanfall shortly after. Best surprise was probably The Division again, followed by Spark.

I thought EA had bit of a stinker but their highlights were NFS and SW:BF. Ubisoft had highs in places such as The Division and The Crew.

Sony undoubtedly had the best smack talk and reveal in terms of price but generally found their conference a bit long and slow.

In the main battle between MS and Sony, Sony won, simply by treating their customers with a modicum of respect and not just as walking talking wallets.

@15 What tickles me more is the number of people that hate the idea of Kinect spying on them, but sign into Facebook and partake in these polls :)

On topic, MS won for games, Sony won for bucking the apparent trend and on price.

Sony will probably win the next-gen consol war, but Ubisoft owned E3 this year by far.

    The Crew.
    The Division.
    Assassin’s Creed IV.
    Watch Dogs.

I’m going to hneed all those games. =)

@23 Totally agree, no matter what some PC plonker says on here I thought ‘The Division’ looked amazing especially.

  24. NinjaHart

@24: Yeah, The Division looks AMAZING, but I was very suprised about The Crew as well.

It gave me the feeling that I can create my own scenario in that game, which possibly could fit right into the next Fast and the Furious movie.
Ubisoft got me interested in every game they had.

The Division does look great, but I think I’d prefer to play it with a mouse and keyboard. Will probably get it anyway and just fail badly.

    Star Wars Battlefront!!!!

well from a games standpoint MS, EA and Ubisoft had great press conferences.

didnt see Sonys, but they propably will be declared as the winner because everyone is against the Xbox, thats just the cool thing to do right now

  29. manamana

If a game/teaser/trailer won the E3, it has to be Battlefront. Just because.

Erm Sony won the 100m pricing event and were later disqualified from the DRM 400m hurdles due running in the same track as a fellow competitor, both later failed doping tests.

Gaming because that’s all that matters: EA, ubisoft and MS had by a considerable margin the best games on show. (More so EA for giving me battlefront)
Nintendo got the woodern spoon for show up with mario-kart.

DayZ standalone is there so big smile here.

MS edged it on games, though by many industry accounts because of its huge chequebook as it paid some devs not to show for Sony.

Sony blitzed it on hardware and policies. On those counts, it wasn’t even a competition.

    Sony hands down.

On games? Nintendo, obviously. New Link to the Past entry, new Mario, new Pokemon. But overall, Sony. (And I’m hurting to say that being a Nintendo fan) but they blew up everything Microsoft said and displayed some awesome looking games as well.
