SEGA has sent over a video featuring the Battle of Teutoburg forest in Total War: Rome 2 The video also demonstrates the game’s new true line-of-sight system, deployable battlefield tech, and ambush scenarios. Some lovely new shots were also sent over as well. Rome 2 is expected sometime in 2013 for PC.

JUST GIVE ME THIS GAME!! Why do I still love creative assembly after they parade this beautiful thing in front of me and knowing I cannot have yet.

Genuinely the only one of these Total War games I played was the original Rome. So I think this is going on my wanted list.

@4 The original Rome was the pinnacle of the series for me, along with the original Medieval.

The gunpowder stuff is great for a geek like me, but the games have been so buggy. Napoleon has its moments, and Empire got a lot better after the community fixed some of their fuck-ups, but it was never “complete”.

@5 shogun 2 is awesome fun and I’ve played all the Total War games except Empires and shogun 1.

They need to learn how to take screenshots. The jaggie edges are really letting them down when all then need to do is turn AA on surely?
