Guild Wars 2 connection errors related to patch demand

Guild Wars 2 is throwing connectivity errors. A post on the MMORPG’s forums asks for patience, and puts the blame on “everybody” downloading a 500MB patch “at the same time”.

Well that’s a bad move to blame the customers. It might be true, but still…

It is true! Trying to play any online game the minute it’s released or the minute it gets a new patch is idiotic to say the least. I’m downloading with 4 MBs/sec now. Why now? Because I have common sense.
