GDC 2013 organizers have added talks from Telltale, Linden Labs and CD Projekt RED to the conference schedule.
Telltale’s Jake Rodkin and Sean Vanaman will discuss how the team was able to develop a title which enlisted an emotional response from players in their tall: “Saving Doug: Empathy, Character, and Choice in The Walking Dead.”
Linden Labs’s creative director Emily Short will provide a postmortem on the studio’s storytelling app in her talk titled: “Turning Comedy of Manners into Gameplay: Versu Postmortem.”
And lead gameplay designer Maciej Szczesnik of CD Projekt RED will discuss creativity boosting measures in his demonstration: “From Great Ideas to Game Features.”
GDC takes place March 25-29 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
