Mortal Kombat: Legacy season 2 trailer says “Get Over Here” twice

Monday, 18th February 2013 02:48 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Only two uses of Mortal Kombat’s most memorable catchphrase appear in the trailer for the second season of Mortal Kombat: Legacy, which I feel demonstrates admirable restraint.

Honestly if it had just been a couple of minutes of Scorpion harpooning people I would probably have given it five stars. As it stands, the two minute teaser shows off a number of returning and new characters – Kenshi, Stryker, Mileena and Raiden are my favourites.

The Kevin Tancharoen-directed series will span ten episodes. It’s the result of a deal between Machinima and Warner Bros and will release via the former’s media network. The first season was released to promote Mortal Kombat, and totted up 60 million views.

Thanks, Polygon.

Looks much better than the first season if you ask me.

Wait a freaking second. Liu Kang is with Shang Tsung and Outworlders? What’s going on here?
