The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth team nearly ready for new content

In a quick update to his personal blog, Edmund McMillen has said work on The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is coming along swimmingly. A significant number of assets from the original game have been reproduced in the re-releases 16-bit art style, and the artists will soon move on to working on new content. McMillen said he's "quite happy with how things are looking" and that "the game is in good hands". Rebirth is a console re-release of the experimental rogue-like, freed from its Flash engine constraints to support new content and an overhauled art style thanks to Nicalis. Platforms and release date are still to be confirmed.
