Tomb Raider is first Square-Enix title to be localised in Arabic, Lara actor revealed

Tomb Raider is the first Square-Enix title to be localised in Arabic, and with it, a new Lara voice actor has been revealed. Nadine Njeim takes the lead role. Find out more about the localisation and Njeim after the break.

The announcement was made over on the Tomb Raider blog, revealing that Njeim - who is a major TV personality and is currently hosting the Middle Eastern edition of music talent show “The Voice" - is voicing Lara.

Karl Stewart, Global Brand Director at Square-Enic said of the localisation, “We are really excited to be bringing Tomb Raider localized into Arabic for the first time in the series history. In localizing Tomb Raider into Arabic, we hope to reward the long term fans, and also attract many more to this origin story of Lara Croft".
