MoH: Warfighter Zero Dark Thirty releasing next week

Saturday, 15th December 2012 15:46 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Medal of Honor: Warfighter’s The Hunt map pack – aka Zero Dark Thirty – will release next week, according to a post from level designer Marc Janas on US PS Blog.

While the post seems to have been removed from the site, CVG and Polygon managed to nab the details in time.

The pack contains the maps Darra Gun Market and Chitra Compound, which were detailed by Janas.

“The Darra Gun Market map contains a scenic river crossing with high intensity combat over the ravine, the gunsmith pit which is right along the docks, and the abandoned estate that provides an overwatch for the entire middle section of the map,” he wrote. “Players of each class will find areas that support their play style – there are great sniper positions, as well as several sneaky routes located around each of the objectives.

“Chitral Compound is based loosely on the area you scoured for the Cleric in single player. It features a small town center checkpoint with roof to roof combat, a large dried up river valley which provides many great sniping opportunities, and the strongly fortified compound which contains several locations perfect for bipod play in Homerun Mode.”

New weapon camo options will also be included in the pack, along with new weapon attachments – all outlined below.

14 Weapon Camos

    I had honestly forgotten this game existed. Is it much better than 2010 MoH?

    No. It’s a poorly made, offensive, pro-war shit fest.

    Singleplayer is miles ahead of CoD, and the multiplayer is on the same level. Then again, that doesn’t say much, so yes, the game is still shit.

    Personally i enjoyed playing through the campaign a lot. Some really cool missions and quite good looking too. Online is fun as well. I feel it’s highly underrated.

    Agreed that this game came in for far more criticism than was deserved. I don’t play single player, though the multi has given me more fun than I’ve had with a military fps in a couple of years. The fireteam buddy system is genuinely innovative – graphics are great – sound is best in class, and it has a peak&lean system that actually works with a controller. Overall it feels dynamic, whereas I found blops 2 to be one of the most stagnant and static experiences of the year. Insane that this game was harassed for the very same things that COD gets away with. It’s the ultimate whipping boy – but def worth picking up if tired of the COD recipe.

    @5 exactly man.

    The things they bitched about in their MoH reviews, are the same things they either ignored in the BLOPS 2 reviews or never mentioned. I honestly can’t believe the many negative reviews and i’m happy i ignored them and bought the game.

    the moh-wf was an unfinished rushed turd on disc. that need an insane big fix patch on day one, to even make the game playable, and the game today still have problems… the frostbite looks shit on consoles and have a lot of screen tearing,frame droppings, texture popping and the vaseline/blur screen effects is all over…

    this game is a perfect example on what not to do as a developer… when you as a customer buy the disc game you only get the half game, and it is unplayable. the rest of it that you need to make it work is in a patch. so the 60 dollar disc you buy is pure garbage…

    as a customer i don’t accept this at all… and if you ignore this and just accept it you will get this garbage every time.
