End of Nations development may have switched from Las Vegas studio Petroglyph to Triond Worlds, but the studio is still excited about the project, according to a new statement that confirms the developer has laid of 19 staff, moved into a new office and is working on new projects for 2014. Get the details below.
Softpedia reports on a press release that came from the studio directly. The statement reads, “The team at Petroglyph is very excited about End of Nations, a title which earned more than 50 nominations and awards while in development, and looks forward to its upcoming release.”
The release adds that the developer has reduced its workforce by 19 staff members – not the 30 that were previously rumoured – and has moved into a new Las Vegas studio. Petroglyph’s total head count now sits at just over 90, according to the statement.
In addition, the studio is now working on “multiple projects” – some internally, others for third-party publishers – all slated for a 2014 release. We’re yet to see a game launch from Petroglyph, following the shelving of the End of Nations beta last month.
